Building started here in the early 1950s under the name Dennis Park, and residents voted to rename it Mission Hills in 1956. What that leaves is a neighborhood of ranch tract homes whose attached garages are now roughly seventy years old, and the original wood doors on some of them are heavy enough to wear an opener out fast.
